Work in Progress: more from the flock of birds

Before all the birds are fully photographed and decidedly distributed, here's a little backtrack to a growing flock:

Thought these three looked particularly good together, like a Cream Court

Once I've photographed them all (for details and etc), it will be decided if any make it to consignment and the rest will be released incrementally, (primarily via my Etsy). I *might* end up adding a couple more to the group because after this spree, I'm going to take a break from individually sold birds (includes bird pairs) and work on some unfinished dolls and longer term projects so if anyone was interested in birds, now is the time to keep an eye out.

On another note, I was also featured in a few treasuries :)  :

Work In Progress- Gatsby Inspired Wedding Topper

I haven't updated in a while but this has been what I call "Family Month" and do you know what happens during family month? Touring the city during record high temperatures, working your regular job and occasionally having enough time to clean up after the mess your cat made (just an hour ago I found out an "earthquake" happened in one of my terrariums). Sigh.

I did get some sewing done though- the P&P topper is complete, pictures to come soon once I'm ready to list.

And I've been working on cake topper 2- Great Gatsby inspired.
Both of these birds were potential P&P male mates but they didn't work out .
They happened to fit well together. If you're lucky, it happens irl too.

The basic base of this is done but it's going to get more leaves, a lining for the inside base, maybe a ribbon around the lace and of course, the couple.

But I do like this tree by itself- Weeping Willows are among my favorite. Maybe this is (another) separate project I can add to the list/ massive pile.

Whoops, Missed A Day

But it was for a good cause- productivity!, I'll post on what I was doing later (double post to make up) but for now, yesterday's intended post:

Succulents

Here are some leaf cuttings I took that have begun to sprout. Do I sound too nerdy if I say I was thrilled?

They've also been affecting my other hobbies.

This is a pair of succulents I made.

This one I modeled after a jade plant.

This one after an echeveria. You can buy this one from Etsy if you feel so inclined.
